Vectorization – Concrete Cracks

Client’s Needs: Inspect and map concrete cracks.

Work Done: 3D survey and 2D vectorization of cracks.

Deliverable: 2D plan of vectorized cracks along with a web link to visualize the 3D survey.

Advantage: Using a 3D survey, it’s possible to obtain a virtual (to-scale) representation of an existing environment at a specific moment from one’s computer. Thus, all desired information can be extracted, and even temporal comparisons can be made by overlaying surveys taken at different times.
