Drone Photogrammetry and Vectorization – Concrete Cracks

Client: Engineering Firm

Client’s Needs: Obtain a current and accurate representation of the state of the concrete walls of a hydroelectric turbine for inspection purposes. Identify and locate concrete cracks.

Work Done: 3D scanning via terrestrial scanning and photogrammetric surveying by drone of the concrete walls. Vectorization of cracks using technical drawing software.

Deliverables: Georeferenced orthophotos of each facade. All overlaid with CAD vectors representing the cracks.

Advantage: Facilitates inspection of enclosed spaces. High-quality photos combined with 3D scanning provide high-resolution visuals and millimeter precision. All grouped in a single file.
