3D Modeling – Historic Site

Client: Steel Manufacturer

Client’s Needs: Precisely identify the configuration of the existing structure to develop the new reinforcement structure.

Work Done: 3D scanning, geolocation relative to project axis lines, and modeling of existing steel structure and concrete walls.

Deliverable: Integration of the geolocated 3D model into SDS2.

Advantage: 3D scanning allows for replicating an existing environment into a detailed 3D model, providing a solid foundation for design initiation.
